If you’re currently conducting research work focused on an innovative technology applicable to a clinical setting and you wish to showcase your work to biomedical entrepreneurs, don’t miss the chance to present it in this edition of the Breakthrough Competition!




In order to take part in this competition:

Idea Evaluation

Your work will be evaluated according to a set of rigorous criteria to ensure the highest quality of the accepted projects.

Make your Presentation

The six best Ideas will be selected for presentation in the Breakthrough Competition Session, taking place on Thursday, September 19th.
*The participation on the Breakthrough Competition doesn’t grant access to the 19th YES Meeting
Breakthrough Competition

1st Prize: A monetary prize of 500EUR a one-year mentoring program with EIT Health, the chance to participate in Regional Competition (North of Portugal) of the EIT Health Innovation Days, the chance to present the evolution of the project in the 20th YES Meeting Breakthrough Competition and 3 month subscription for Kenhub, 12 month subscription for MEDizzy Premium
2nd Prize: A 3 month subscription for Kenhub and a 6 month subscription for MEDizzy Premium
3rd Prize:A 3 month subscription for Kenhub and a 3 month subscription for MEDizzy Premium
