The members of the Organizing Committee will focus on gathering biomedical students from all around the world and achieving the following main goals:

1. The Biomedical projects developed by students will have the main stage at YES Meeting. Participants will have the opportunity to present their own research work to a renowned Jury and the best presentations will be awarded prizes by our Scientific Committee. These presentations will take place during Poster Sessions, Oral Communications and the Plenary Session.

2. World-class scientists will gather at our congress to present their major discoveries in various fields, allowing biomedical students to expand their knowledge horizons.

3. All participants will be able to experience science in a unique way through our Speed Meeting activity, in which they can ask questions and discuss scientific themes with the Speakers of our congress.

4. Biomedical students will be given the opportunity to perfect their medical skills with practical tips from the very best professionals in Portugal, within our vast Workshop Programme.

5. Medical reasoning of participants will be challenged at the Clinical Competition by answering multiple choice questions about curious clinical cases. There will be a prize awarded to the winner.

6. The construction of a worldwide student network with peers who share the same interest for research and biomedical science is just as important.
