You can participate in the YES Meeting as a Non-Presenting or a Presenting Student.
If you want to present your work in our Scientific Competition, you can submit your abstract from the 1st of March until the 15th of May. If you don't want to present any work during the meeting, you can register as a Non-Presenting Student. Registration for Non-Presenting Students will open on the 1st of June.
The YES Meeting is specially aimed at undergraduate students in the biomedical field, such as medical, pharmacy, bioengineering and chemistry students. Presenting Students may only submit work conducted during a Bachelor's, Licentiate or Master's degree.

The registration fee for Non-presenting Students has a cost of 45 EUR and includes all 9 Scientific Sessions, 3 Hands-on Workshops, a Social Programme and access to the Clinical Competition.
The registration fee for Presenting Students has a cost of 40 EUR and includes all 9 Scientific Sessions, 3 Hands-on Workshops, a Social Programme, access to the Scientific Competition and the Clinical Competition.
The Gala Dinner has a separate cost of 15 EUR
To register as a Presenting Student you must submit your abstract from March 1st until May 15th 2024.
Please note: Your vacancy is not guaranteed by the fact you have submitted your abstract.
Each participant may only submit and present a single work.
Co-authors may attend the conference as Non-Presenting Students. Co-authors may also present, in case of first-author unavailability (e.g. if you submit one work and for some reason you will not be able to attend the conference, you may assign your rights to one of the co-authors; by doing this, you forfeit your claim to the presentation prize in case of winning to your substitute).

Presenting Students will receive an email notification stating if their abstract was accepted and specifying which type of presentation (Parallel Oral Session or Poster Session) was attributed to their research work. In this email, they will also receive a link to register for the 18th YES Meeting and a Presenting Student Identification Number (e.g. PS10).

You will need to follow the instructions of the results' notification email and complete your registration by filling in the Registration Form and by paying the Presenting Students' Registration Fee within the established deadline.

During the payment confirmation process, you will receive in your email a link to a form where you will be able to ask for an invoice and fill in the information needed. Later, the invoice will be sent to your email.
All participants are entitled to a certificate of participation.
Your Certificate of Participation will mention the Workshops attended, and, if you are a Presenting Student, the title of the work, the corresponding authors and the respective affiliations.
A few days after the congress, you'll receive an email asking for your opinion and experience at the YES Meeting. After you have filled in this evaluation form, you'll receive another email with the certificate. Therefore, it is mandatory to complete every step of the evaluation form, in order to receive your certificate.
