Workshop’s Description:

Are you keen on learning more about forensic toxicology? Do you want to know what’s behind a toxicology lab? In this workshop, with a very interactive approach, you will be able to understand the impact of certain drugs on your body and how small differences on their pharmacodynamic can explain all the signs and symptoms associated with their consumption. Clinical and Forensic cases will be presented and discussed.

No lab coat is required!

  • Ricardo Dinis-Oliveira, PhD, European PhD, DSc – Assistant Professor with Habilitation of the Department of Sciences of University Institute of Health Sciences and Department of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto; Young Scientist Award in Forensic Toxicology by the International Association of Forensic Toxicologists in 2008; Post-doc in Forensic Forensic Toxicology; President elect of the Portuguese Association of Forensic Sciences (APCF) and Vice-President of the Portuguese Society for the Study of Abused and Neglected Children (SPECAN).
