The Porto Cruise Terminal (South Cruise Terminal) is the largest project ever for the opening of the Port of Leixões to the city and an important gateway of the region. It is situated at the South Mole of the Port of Leixões, just 3 Km from the city of Porto. Since April 2011, the new pier with 340 metres of length has received the biggest and the most glamorous cruise ships from the worldwide cruise fleet, boosting the cruise tourism in the North of Portugal region.

Are you a Harry Potter’s fan, a baroque enthusiast or are you simply eager to relish the city of Porto from one of its most well known Ex Libris? This is the social programme for you. Starting at Clérigos Tower and Museum, you’ll get to soak in the 360º breathtaking view over the city of Porto from the top of the Tower - but prepare yourself for a about 230 steep steps climb, the most rewarding achievement of the day! Arriving at Lello’s bookshop, you might have a déjà vu, since this sumptuous place was J.K Rowling’s inspiration for the Harry Potter’s books and was recognized as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world by Time magazine, CNN and The Guardian newspaper. In the end, you’ll be able to enjoy a moment to rest and relax at a very special place!

Grab a camera and put your sneakers on because you are about to join Porto Viewpoints Route. Arriving at Jardim do Morro, you can admire the riverside area of Porto and Gaia, the colourful houses of the city and marvel over the D. Luís I Bridge standing out on one side of the horizon. Crossing this bridge you'll be amazed by the astonishing views of Terreiro da Sé and Jardim das Virtudes viewpoints. In the end we promise you a moment to rest and chill out in a very special place!

The third edition of this social program allows the 13th YES Meeting participants to taste the flavours, scents and pleasures of the Portuguese gastronomy. This walking tour gives you the chance to visit the most famous avenues and squares in downtown Porto and Ribeira and enjoy famous snacks of various places of the city. Portuguese cuisine is as rich and varied as its landscape, and that is what makes this program a unique experience.

SIGHTSEEING



The sightseeing tour by bus will help you uncover the beauty and the history of Oporto, departing from the centre of Oporto and following the riverside road through Passeio Alegre all the way to Foz do Douro. You will see Palácio de Cristal, Casa da Música, Avenida da Boavista, Fundação de Serralves, Castelo do Queijo, Anémona and the amazing beaches of Porto and Matosinhos.

Rabelo boats are traditional boats that used to transport wine barrels through the Douro River, which is one of the major rivers of the Iberian Peninsula. In the Dragão Stadium, the FC Porto Museum includes the Intercontinental Cup, UEFA Cup and European Super Cup. You will be able to visit the Tramcar Museum and discover the collection of historical vehicles on rails. You will also have the opportunity to travel by Tramcar on riverside line, which makes the route between the historic centre of Porto and the garden of Passeio Alegre on a single path along the banks of the River Douro.

A National Monument, Palácio da Bolsa is the property and headquarters of the Commercial Association of Porto. Designed in a neoclassical style in 1842 and situated in the historical centre, it is one of the most visited monuments with the famous Arabian Room being its major highlight. Outside it is possible to see Ferreira Borges Market and the 14th century gothic S. Francisco Church. This trip will end in S. Bento train station, built in 1900 and certainly the most famous railway station of the city.
